Alternate Universes
What if Hermione had never gone to Hogwarts and attended a Muggle school? What if Ron had never met Harry and Ron and Hermione never met?
Write up a short (or long) story, so we can hear your ideas about how Ron and Hermione would have met under different circumstances like the ones above. How would Ron and Hermione have met in an Alternate Universe?

ok, i am not much of a writer but i do have a place where, if anywhere, they would definintly meet.
they should meet at a library, i mean where else?
and ron should be like forced to go to this library by his mum. and of course, hermione has gone there on free will...

Ron and Hermione are destined together. If they hadnt met on their death beds they would have a dead wedding and their souls would linger together for the rest of their lives,

I often thought about what would have happened to Ron and Hermione if they had never met Harry, or each other. But going along with what randhfan said, they are just destined.

hmmm..i might just write on this..i think maybe,just maybe at the train station when going to hogwarts,he spotted her with her arms full of books and as he was staring,she toppled over and her books fell about.he would help her to pick them up and he would spot the name of a library on one of them which makes sense cos' witch or no witch,she's an avid bookworm!she would thank him shyly and tuck her books in her bag but when she raises her head he's gone!(through platform 9 3/4...but she doesn't know that!)she boards her own train still thinking of him.and he thinks of her while in hogwarts...during the hols,he suggests his father read up on muggle behaviour and also(of course!) suggests the library he saw on hermione's book.then he follows his dad("to help") in hope of bumping into her...how's that???
