Ginny probably sees Harry as someone who's brave and not afraid to take risks or stand up for what he believes in.

Exactly that is why she loves him. What do you think that while Harry and Ginny were dating he was off with some one else? Do you really think thta he is that kind guy? I know guys can be pimps but I really don't think Harry is like that.  That is just not the type of person he is. End of.

What made me see Ginny to be still blinded by Harry's image at the end of HBP...she said that he'd be happy hunting Voldemort...

if she loves him, she'd never say such a thing...on top of everything, she's completely clueless as to what Harry's about to do, and he won't even tell her...if he loved her, then there should be no problem for her to be his confidante...

you see? little details such as those make up love...prior to HBP, Ginny wasn't seriously considered by Harry as a love interest, and suddenly, boom...they're all over each other.

Well, Ginny liked Harry since his first year, but eventually just kinda gave up on getting him.  That doesn't mean that she didn't like him anymore.

Because Sum that is how Harry is. He is dead set on destorying Voldemort.  She knows that is what he wants to do. And she is clueless because HARRY never told her what was going on. Dumbledore said to only tell Ron and Hermione. If he told her what was going on she would be against his going off only. 

And Ginny  had a crush on Harry forever and she still liked him she was just playing hard to get. And Harry was in love with her for all of HBP.

HBP was a book where everyone was out of character...Ginny probably used one of 'em love potions on Harry, because there has to be some sort of build-up before love can happen...and Ginny's crush isn't necessarily love...it's infatuation with an image...and if love is also about intimacy, then harry and hermione have a lot of that too...;)

Not uh!! They are teenagers. They are acting just like evrey teenager that i know. 

Ginny couldn't have used a love potion. She would need to sneak it in to his coffee every day. Everyday!!!! I don't think she could manage to add a potion to his drink everyday without anyone knowing. And Harry smelled her in that potion. I can't beleive a potion, no matter how good Ginny made it, could trick a potion that strong. Maybe at first she liked him cause of his image, but she stil liked him after she got to know him.

Oh, please. Jo aready said that there is no Harry-and-Hermione relationship. Get over it! It is not happening! End of.  The are just friends.

Well im a teenager too, and I understand the differences in behaviour...but you can't have a down-to-earth hermione suddenly regressing and closing herself off to everything and everybody...ginny was the only normal character i saw...we all know how she loves to seek attention...;)

and a love potion needs only to be administered once for it to work...we saw that with ron's accident. Also, the mere fact that Harry withholds info from her means he doesn't trust her enough...and imagine, spending a year apart will definitely affect Ginny...she's not the patient type and could easily have a fling with someone else...

Me three. And I do what Hermione did all the time. I close myself off the the people I know alot. They don't get me so I just shut up and zone them out. It totally works. Then you don't have to deal with all there garbage.  Not really. Ginny was totally shy at first remember, than she started to date Michel Corner and she became more out-spoken.

Yea but that didn't last that long. Caust Harry got him the antiadote ASPA. Remember Dumbledore said that Volde's mom had to gave his dad a love potion every morning to keep him around and look how it turned out when she stopped. Dumbledore told him to only tell Ron and Hermione! And Harry is Dumbledores man thru and thru. So he wouldn't go blabing to someone else. Duh!

And she would have ever right to have a rebound relationship. He broke up with her. But she will probably fight him on that one. Wjich will probably really hurt Harry since he didn't want to lose her. Remember he said they could have had ages together?

Exactly...girls can be shy, I know, but Ginny is anything but shy!! She was in the beginning, yes, and her confidence went up considerably in the consequent books, to the point where she dates five guys at once...why wouldn't Harry just be the next person on the list? Ginny has become sort of like slughorn...she looks for trophies, in order to make herself look extremely good and appealing...and you're right, she and Harry will have a fight on the subject, and it will not be pretty...

Harry is DD's man thru and thru, but why shouldn't he tell Ginny? I thought listening to your heart means the most anywhere anytime... and why did Harry even tell Ron and Hermione? Would he have still told them if DD didn't say anything?

DD told him not to tell ANYONE other than Ron and Hermione. I doubt that he would have told any one with out them bugging him to the breaking point.

Yea Harry's life is a mess at the moment so any thing really good would be a little out there. It wasn't like his relationship with Cho was normal relationship now was it? I think your right about him never having a normal relationship. But I doubt that Ginny cares if their relaionship is normal.

by comparing ginny to slughorn, im trying to make you see that she has a personality that seeks attention and likes a high-profile life...she strives to be popular after all, does she not?

she sees Harry's struggle as some epic story, where Harry is a hero who will come out victorious in the end...she won't admit to herself that Harry could be killed, and she won't accept it either...

however, hermione does...she's much more in tune with harry's character than ginny is...

and the definition of a normal relationship does vary from couple to couple...in ginny's case, it'd probably be around glorifying harry as much as possible...the one thing he hates the most after voldemort...

Harry really likes Ginny. I don't remember him feeling the same way toward Cho. He didn't have same monster in his chest when he saw Cho with same one other than him but he felt that way about Ginny. And the on;y reason that they broke up was because he wanted to protect her. And he even tryed to convence himself that he only liked her as a sister and in the end he reliased that he was just trying to fool himself. And need I remind you of Slughorn's first class and "the most powerful love potion in the world."

yup yup...ginny has slipped harry a love potion somewhere along the line...he has all the symptoms, and it's kinda fishy...sorta like the opening of hamlet...it was too perfect :/

Ginny and Harry are great for each other to me I like to see them together. Harry is so quiet at times and its good to see him with someone that can be at times mellow just like him. Hermione isn't as calm as Harry and needs someone herself to help her get her mind off of stressful times, someone like *Ron*. Harry has so many things on his mind at times, and he has also spent a lot of time with Hermione if he had liked her I think he would have admitted it to himself by now.When he saw that he liked Ginny although it did take him a while he took action and let her know it.
