MY SECOND R/H FAN FIC      “You’re welcome Seamus. Anytime. Just ask. Not like I’m not used to it, being best friends with Harry and Ron” Hermione said.     Hermione had just helped Seamus with some transfiguration homework, which even she had to admit was harder than usual.     Seamus laughed. “Thanks again.”     Seamus walked away, but then Hermione heard someone else coming through the portrait hole. She thought nothing of it, until that someone said her name rather angrily.        “Hermione!” Lavender shouted. Hermione was confused. Very confused.     “You little bitch!” screamed Lavender.     “What? What have I done?” Hermione asked, still confused.     “You know full well what. You know he’s just dumped me! But, you couldn’t wait to get your filthy hands on him, not even a day after he dumped me!”     “Eh? Yes, I know he’s just finished you . I can hardly not know, it’s all you’ve been going on about.      “See! See Parvati! She’s even admitting to it!”     “Admitting to what?” shrieked Hermione     “Oh, don’t act all innocent. You’ve been flirting with my ex, haven’t you? I thought we were friends? Oh, don’t deny it. Don’t bother. You’re a sick, twisted, little bitch, you know that?”     And suddenly, before Hermione could even register what was going on, she felt Lavenders hand on the side of her face, and she fell. Lavender had slapped her. She could feel it burning. She could also hear her and Parvati laughing.         The common room was full, and all eyes were on Hermione and Lavender. Hermione heard someone stand.         “She has not been flirting! What the hell are you on about? She helped him with some homework! There’s nothing wrong with that! She helps me and Harry and Ron with homework all the time! Bet you wouldn’t say she fancied Ron, or was flirting with my boyfriend, or call her a lesbian for that! You jealous cow!” Ginny was fuming. She was screaming all this, and had completely forgotten about the rest of the Common Room.      “Way to go little sis! Didn’t think you had it in you!” Fred and George said in unison.     Hermione did not witness this, as she had stormed up to the Girls Dormitories, really offended by what her so-called friend had just said to her. Why on earth would she flirt with Seamus? And, not to mention the slap! What had she done to deserve the? According to everyone, well, except for Ron himself, she fancied Ron. That wasn’t true. It sort of wasn’t, anyway. Everyone knew now they had fancied each other, but now they were just friends. Well, apart from the fact that Hermione was starting to fancy him again, and was nearly sure he fancied her, but that was just a hope.      The dormitory door opened and Hermione didn’t look up. She was huddled on the floor in a ball, her head in her hands, crying. The person who had opened the door came and set next to her, and put their arms around her. Hermione looked up, expecting Ginny, but it wasn’t. There was red hair, but this person was taller, and was a boy. O.K, if you’re thick and haven’t guessed yet, the person hugging her was Ron.      “It’s O.K. I’ll stick up for you. What made that little bitch slap you? Ron asked, genuinely concerned.     “She thought I’d been flirting with Seamus. But I haven’t, and now everyone is going to be saying it now. It’s not fair!” Hermione said, and she burst into tears.     “It’s O.K,” Ron repeated, still holding her. He put his head down and kissed her forehead.     “What was that for?” Hermione asked.     “If you say no, can we still be friends; it’s just um, Oh crap.  .Will y...You um, err g...G...G...g...g...g...go out w...W...With me?” Ron stammered apprehensively, obviously nervous.         “Oh,” Hermione said, her eyes wide and mouth rounded like a little `o`.     “I mean, it’s alright if you don’t want to, I mean I can see why you wouldn’t, b . . . but I j-”     “No, um, I mean, um, are you being serious? Cos that would be horrible if you weren’t, I mean you’re not, oh I’m crap at this, but are you being serious?”     “Why would I not be serious about something like this?”
