Well, no-one's posted a reply to this thread yet, so I think I'll be the first, and get the shipping ball rolling again.
Here goes: I don't actually think this ship would work particularly well. Victor was attracted to the bookish, quiet and quite demure when it comes to men Hermione. Lavender is...not those things, by any strech of the imagination. Lavender would be willing to date a rich, famous beefcake, but I think Victor might see her a little too much like one of the gold-digging fans.
