Ron and Hermione

It can mutually be agreed that the Short Story contest crashed and burned, and there aren't enough excuses to cover for that. But at this time, I WOULD like to announce the winner of the contest, Lav-Lav for her story "When You're Not Guaranteed a Single Second More."

I hope all can be forgiven, and I promise not to tackle any more big projects any time soon ;)

I'm so sorry everyone, I've been caught up like many in this Holiday mayhem, and haven't been able to even think towards the Short Story Contest, and somehow let a whole month slip by without even mention. I'm reviewing the entries and will post the Winner and two runners up on www.fanfiction.net as soon as I can, and if I have even more time, I might post all of the other stories. (I think I recieved 15 or so..)

I've decided to extend the short story contest date, in consideration of everyone's busy schedule, and more writing time. The new date is Nov 7th, and I look forward to everyone's last minute entries!

Now located under 'Ron and Hermione', (near the Caption Contest) The page for the  short story contest is up, along with new guidelines, (ratings, deadline for all entries etc.) So get writing and send them in! Flood my email inbox! Overwhelm me with Ron and Hermione-ness!

For lack of Ron and Hermione related news, there are several good quality Order of the Phoenix movie stills floating around the internet. You can find them at Mugglenet.com, and Leakynews.com, among other sites. They include Luna (turnip earrings and all) and Umbridge, and the DA. Also, the page for the Short Story Contest is almost up. I've gotten some great stories so far but would love more!
