Yahoo News reported today that the HP trio: Rupert, Emma, Dan, and also Matthew Lewis (Neville) are going to be participating in a specially written play called The Queen's Handbag for the Queen's 80th birthday extravaganza which will be airing on BBC1 and CBBC on June 25th and is also when the event is going to be happening.

Harry Potter fans will be catered for, with a specially-written scene including Harry, played by Daniel Radcliffe, Hermione (Emma Watson), Ron (Rupert Grint) and Neville (Matthew Lewis).

We'll be on the look out for any videos or pictures that pop up! :)

According to many sites, the Harry Potter trio with producer David Heyman, will be videotaping a message and sending it off to the people at the Comic-Con International and it will be shown on one of the nights. This year, Comic-Con (comic convention) will be held from July 20-23. We'll keep our eyes open for the video!

A leading US psychologist has recently said that fictional female characters, like our own Hermione Granger, are causing real-life violence in girls.

"Girls have traditionally learned to suppress violent tendencies but now get mixed messages about how they should behave," renowned US psychologist Professor James Garbarino, who has advised the FBI, said.

"We are seeing a general increase in normal aggression and an increase in criminal violence," He told The Daily Telegraph.

He pointed to characters such as Hermione, who is the "perfect daughter" but in the third Potter movie punches Harry's enemy Malfoy.

There is a new article from MTV.com that talks about Rupert, Driving Lessons, and a little about filming for Order of the Phoenix.

Rupert talks about doing the fighting scenes in OoTP and also mentions Hermione!

"I'm dueling Hermione," Grint said, "and I get thrown back a lot, which we do with me wearing a harness. We're doing quite a few stunts, but the really big fight scenes are coming up."

Also, Emma and Rupert, along with Dan are nominated for the Best On-Screen Team award at the MTV Movie awards which will air on June 8 at 9pm in the U.S. To vote for them, go here. I think you can vote as many times as you want. ;)

Also, JK has added another entry to the diary section of her official site, where she said that she visited the OoTP studio in Leavesden and talked to "Rupert about how his sisters never wind him up", and "Emma about Hermione's love life"!! I read this with a huge smile on my face! We all know that Emma is a sidekick and maybe Emma had a bit of an influence on JK about the 7th book, eh? ;) Even though JK doesn't need influence to make us happy because she's the biggest sidekick of us all! If only she gave us a little more info about what Emma said to JK and vice versa!

It has been confirmed that OoTP will be released in theatres on July 13th, 2007! Can't wait!

Emma also says that she did a scene with Rupert the other day where she had to blast him against a wall with a hex because of a sexist comment he made! Also, you know the beautiful dress Hermione wore to the Yule Balll in GoF, that made many jaws drop and made Ron's heart skip a beat? I've found out that the dress cannot be found or bought from anywhere and the dress was made especially for the Yule Ball scene. It took three months and 12 metres of chiffon to make! CBBC Newsround reports that the OoTP movie will come out in the summer or autumn of 2007 with HBP coming out in 2008! I can't wait!!

News: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire sells 9 million units the first week they are shelved in North America. I read this from hpana.com.

HP and the GoF didn't win any accolades at this award ceremony but they did win an honorary award for their contribution to cinema! :) Congrats to them!
